Targeted Admission Scheme (Moana Oceania)

Auckland Law School offers entry into Part II under the Targeted Admission Scheme (Moana Oceania) to 37 eligible Moana Oceania Law students.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for consideration under the Targeted Admission Scheme (Moana Oceania), you need to comply with all of the administrative requirements and your application must be approved by the faculty.

To meet the administrative requirements you must:

  • Identify as Indigenous Moana Oceania/Pacific Island decent.
  • Apply via Apply to Study for admission into Part II enrolment process.
  • Complete the Targeted Admission Scheme (Moana Oceania) Application Form (including providing documentation where appropriate).
  • Be available to attend an interview if requested by the faculty.

Application process

Students who are deemed eligible for consideration under the Targeted Admission Scheme go into a pool of "eligible Moana Oceania students".

These students are ranked according to their academic performance in Part I (calculated on the basis of their Grade Point Average). The 37 Targeted Admission Scheme (Pacific) places are then awarded to the highest ranking students.

Information session

The Student Support Adviser – Moana Oceania will be run information sessions about applying under the Moana Oceania TAS, in Semester Two.
