Domestic Students - getting a Campus Card
As a new student, follow the below instructions to receive your Campus Card before your
first semester start date:
1. Make sure you have accepted your offer and enrolled in at least one course.
2. Take an ID photo for your card, ensuring the photo fulfils these ID photo guidelines. (You should be directed to do this in your new student welcome email).
3. Submit your photo via the Campus Card Self-Service portal below. This photo submission acts as your first Campus Card request.
4. Once you have submitted your photo, you will receive an email via your University of Auckland email address letting you know if the photo has been approved or declined. If it has been declined we’ll let you know why and ask you to submit another.
5. You will receive a second email letting you know when your Campus Card has been printed. This email will inform you if the card is being delivered to your registered mailing address, your accommodation hall or if you need to collect it from a Campus Card centre.
The cards are printed during the 6 weeks leading up to the start of a semester. The earlier you submit your photo, the earlier you can expect your card to be ready.
Note: We don’t have tracking information for your cards being sent out, but it should take 7-9 business days for them to arrive via NZ Post.
