Engineering: Her Student Experience

An informative evening for high school girls and their whanau to hear about the 10 different engineering specialisations offered at The University of Auckland from current women in engineering students.

A lecture theatre full of students listening to women in engineering students present

Every year, the Engineering: Her Student Experience evenings are held specifically high school girls, their parents and whānau to showcase the women engineering students at the University of Auckland. Attendees will discover details about each specialisation including career pathways, skills that will be acquired and what it’s really like to be a student studying.

The aim of these evenings are to provide an overview of the vast range of
engineering fields and job opportunities that come with them, as well as to
encourage students to consider engineering as an exciting and fulfilling career
option.

Attendees also have the opportunity to ask questions and mingle with current students from each of our ten specialisations over refreshments at the end of the evening. Come along and talk about what it's like to study engineering!
