Campus locations
City Campus
The City Campus is right in the heart of Auckland. You are within walking distance of all the main cultural, entertainment and commercial hubs. Harbour views and Albert Park add to the appeal. The campus has a full range of amenities including cafes, health services, libraries, childcare facilities and a recreation centre.
Newmarket Campus
This is a new five-hectare campus adjacent to the major business area in Newmarket. It will provide the University with a site for expansion over the next 50 years. The faculties of Engineering and Science occupy the first of the new facilities.
Based at 314-390 Khyber Pass Road and spanning Park Road to Kingdon Street, the Newmarket Campus joins the City and Grafton campuses to create an integrated inner-city campus cluster.

Grafton Campus
Originally established as the School of Medicine, the Grafton Campus (opposite Auckland Hospital on the boundary of Auckland Domain) houses the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, including a café, health services, and the Philson Library. It is also the home to many of the University of Auckland clinics.
The faculty also has clinical campuses and sites operating out of hospitals across the North Island. Students from clinical programmes may undertake placements at these urban, regional and rural hospitals.
Tai Tokerau Campus
The Tai Tokerau Campus Te Papa Ako o Tai Tokerau is located at 13 Alexander Street, Whangārei. The campus is located in the heart of Whangārei city centre and is home to around 200 students who want to live and study in the North. University foundation programmes New Start and the Tertiary Foundation Certificate are offered at the campus and the Faculty of Education and Social Work deliver a selection of teacher education and postgraduate study options at the campus so students can complete their qualifications in Northland.
Leigh Marine Laboratory
The Leigh Marine Laboratory is based on the northeast coast of New Zealand, about 100km north of Auckland. With easy access to a wide range of unspoiled marine habitats, it’s been dubbed the ‘marine campus’ of the University of Auckland. The campus provides opportunities for postgraduate teaching and research at the Goat Island Marine Reserve, near Warkworth.

South Auckland Campus - Te Papa Ako o Tai Tonga
Study in the community you love while attending New Zealand's leading university. At our new South Auckland Campus you can complete a Bachelor of Education (Teaching) specialising in Primary teaching or prepare for degree-level study with a Tertiary Foundation Certificate or our New Start programme.

Goldie Estate – Wine Science Centre
Located on Waiheke Island, Goldie vineyard is also the home of the Goldwater Wine Science Centre. The University of Auckland and Goldie Estate intend to continue the innovative spirit of the Goldwater family with the establishment of a premium wine education facility where students are hardwired to the needs of the wine industry. The immersion of students in an operating winery setting also means the winery benefits through access to leading academic developments.
