Auckland Christian Medical Fellowship

The Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) is a nationwide network of Christian doctors and medical students who seek to live wholeheartedly for Christ. At the University of Auckland, we run student-lead weekly meetings, bible studies, prayer groups and other activities.

Auckland Pacific Health Initiative

Auckland Pasifika Health Initiative (APHI) is a student organisation representing Pacific students studying a health-related degree. APHI supports these students in their tertiary endeavours and connects other organisations with APHI members to communicate relevant opportunities.  

Auckland Pharmacy Students’ Association

The Auckland Pharmacy Students’ Association (APSA) is a non-profit student association that is elected and run by pharmacy students. They aim to represent the interests of students of University of Auckland not only in the professional and academic stage, but also in smaller community settings.

Auckland University Medical Students’ Association

The Auckland University Medical Students’ Association (AUMSA) is a non-for profit student organisation that represents medical students at the University of Auckland, preclinical and clinical, and students placed both in and out of Auckland. They have been around for over 50 years, and aim to provide advocacy, support and entertainment for all medical students.

Auckland University Population Health Students’ Association

Auckland University Population Health Students’ Association (AUPHSA) is the student organisation that serves to further the welfare, academic and social interests of those studying under the School of Population Health.

Auckland University Surgical Society

The Auckland University Surgical Society (AUSS) is open to medical students from all years who have an interest in the field of surgery. They expose their members to all aspects of surgery including clinical surgery, surgical research and careers in surgery.

Campus Neuro Society

Campus Neuro Society is the University's only student-led undergraduate neuro interest group. Affiliated with the Centre for Brain Research, their club hopes to offer something to all students interested in the brain.

Chiasma

Chiasma is a national New Zealand organisation that creates links between academia and the wider science, technology and engineering (STEM) industries.  

Dermatology Interest Group

Dermatology Interest Group (DIG) aims to further students’ interest in the field of dermatology in a variety of contexts. They host a range of informative events, including links with Middlemore Hospital and Melanoma NZ.

Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Postgraduate Students’ Association

The Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Postgraduate Students’ Association (FMHS-PGSA)  represents postgraduate students at a number of levels within the faculty. They provide financial assistance to students, doctoral student morning teas and host social events.

FMHS Rainbow Student Network

We’re a faculty wide networking club for LGBTQITakatāpui+ students and allies. We organise a range of activities from social events, educational seminars to volunteering opportunities. Our main goal is to create a safe space for the LGBTQITakatāpui+ students to exist and also to create an environment that allies would feel safe learning more about the community.

Primary Care Students' Association

Primary Care Students' Association- PCSA (formerly known as GP Interest Group - GPIG) are a group of Auckland University students passionate about Primary Care in Aotearoa.

Grassroots Rural Health Club

Grassroots is a multi-disciplinary club for student health professionals. They run trips, seminars and a variety of educational and social events to showcase what rural life and practice has to offer to those in the health field. Grassroots is truly a club like no udder.

Medical and Health Sciences Student Symphony Orchestra

The Medical and Health Sciences Student Symphony Orchestra (MHSSSO) was established to encourage passionate musicians to continue with their music. Since then, they have expanded to encompass students from all faculties at the University of Auckland.

The Medical Imaging Student Association (MISA) is an association set out to connect Medical Imaging students (and others) across all year levels through fun events and gatherings throughout the year.  

Medical Students for Global Awareness

Medical Students for Global Awareness (MSGA) is a nationwide network of medical students who are passionate about addressing health inequities on a local and global scale. They build awareness, take action and advocate for a healthy, sustainable and equal world.

Student Association for the Medical Sciences

Te Oranga Ki Ākarana

The purpose of Te Oranga Ki Ākarana is to nurture the cultural identity of and facilitate whakawhānaungatanga between Māori students in the pursuit of careers in health in order to promote the wellbeing of Māori.

Women in Health Network

The Women in Health Network (WiHN) is a non-profit organisation for future woman health professionals who study across health disciplines spanning biomedicine, health science, medical imaging, medicine, nursing, nutrition, pharmacy and optometry at the University of Auckland.

Young Auckland Chinese Medical Association

The Young Auckland Chinese Medical Association (YACMA) is the student division of the Auckland Chinese Medical Association. They host events, careers nights, workshops and more.
