Programme overview
This 60-point programme will provide you with an understanding and knowledge of information governance concepts. You will acquire a platform of professional skills that will equip you to enter roles related to privacy and information governance within organisations.
The PGCertInfoGov will be available to working professionals needing to upskill in this important field through a shorter qualification. It will also equip new graduates for entry-level career or junior management roles in information governance and/or privacy.
The programme will be offered online through University of Auckland Online. You will be immersed in a rich, flexible and interactive learning environment that is designed to help you to learn and to develop professional skills in information governance.
The PGCertInfoGov is an alternative pathway for graduates who are initially uncertain about committing to a masters programme, and for those who do not achieve the required GPA for direct entry to the Postgraduate Diploma in Information Governance (PGDipInfoGov) (or the Master of Information Governance (MInfoGov), which is being developed for introduction in 2022).
