Do your bit in Northland
Put your skills to good use helping worthy causes in Northland communities.
Volunteering Northland provides a recruitment and referral service for volunteers and supports the volunteer-involving organisations across Northland. If you’re looking to volunteer, there are a wide range of opportunities available, in such areas as: animal care, arts / crafts, dance, emergency response/services, music, language instruction, sport and support for the elderly, families and children/youth.
The skills required for these roles are varied dependent on the role. Full descriptions are available on their website with the ability to refer yourself for the role that you believe best fits your skill set.
Please note: There will be a variety of outdoors projects during/around Volunteer Impact Week (21-27 June), including tree planting, tree "releasing" (weeding) and maybe even some clean-ups (parks, beaches)! Check the website below for more details and to sign up.
A number of charity shops will be trying to reopen their
doors and will need help as well.
