Speaker: Alex Worker - Food Entrepreneur
Alex Worker is a visionary food entrepreneur who believes that new technologies are essential in addressing the challenges of population growth and climate change.
He has co-founded Nutrition from Water™ (NXW), LILO Desserts, and Future Food Aotearoa (FFA), and played a pivotal role in launching and building Impossible Foods across New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region. Alex currently serves as the Chair of Future Food Aotearoa, is an IMAGINE leader, and a member of Class 15 at THNK School Amsterdam.
MC: Liudmyla Beraud - CIE Programme Adviser, University of Auckland
Liudmyla Beraud has taken a non-linear career path, spanning different countries and industries. With a foundation in occupational therapy and education, she has devoted much of her career to tertiary education, focusing on mentoring, coaching, teaching, and facilitation.
Starting at the University of Auckland as a career consultant, her curiosity for entrepreneurial careers inspired her recent move into the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship where she is a Programme Adviser.
