Rin Shimizu - Bachelor of Education (TESOL)
Rin Shimizu says enrolling in the Bachelor of Education (TESOL) was one of the best decisions she’s ever made. She’s currently studying from Japan due to the Covid-19 border restrictions, but that hasn’t stopped her from making the most of her studies.
“I chose the Bachelor of Education (TESOL) because I was interested in becoming a bilingual teacher, and I wanted to learn about language teaching and children.
“It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The programme constantly engages me to push myself to the limit as I explore the subjects I am truly passionate about. All of my courses have taught me things that I can take into my future career.
“Studying online by distance can be a little challenging sometimes, but I still really enjoy my learning and can make the most out of my study."
I look forward to the online tutorials, lectures and quizzes each week, and the university provides such good online study sources for us offshore students.
“The most important thing about studying online offshore is to keep in touch with your lecturers regularly for any updates or questions you might have. Having a good relationship with your lecturer can advance your learning and benefit your studies. Plus, creating a good study plan, either by hand or digitally, can help a lot and keep you motivated!”
