Exam timetable

When your timetable is ready, we'll send an email to your University email address. Exam dates are not official until you have received this email.

View and print your exam timetable

You can sign into Student Services Online to view and print your exam timetable once the official timetable has been released. See How to view your exam timetable.

The Semester Two 2024 examination timetable is now available.

All exam times are listed as New Zealand Standard Time (NZST). If you are located outside New Zealand, you will need to translate your exam time to your local time.

It’s important you check and double check your exam date and time. Unfortunately, if you miss your exam by mixing up the date, time, or location, your final grade will be recorded as DNS (Did Not Sit). For more information, please see Missed exam.

Your availability during the exam period

We expect you to be available for the entire examination period.

Find out more about your obligations, by visiting Alternative times for exams.

For the exam period for each semester, see Important dates.

Problems with exam times

There may be other circumstances that affect you sitting an exam. For more information, see:

All applications to move an exam time or location for Semester Two 2024 exams must be made by Thursday 26 September 2024.

Exam clash

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, sometimes it's unavoidable for you to have two exams scheduled at the same time.

If you have an exam clash, we will arrange for you to sit one of your exams at an alternative date or time. This is usually within 24 hours of the main sitting.

We will email you about the exam clash arrangements and what to do. We'll send the email to your student email account.

This email includes a statutory declaration statement that you will agree to.
