Support vital research that will help combat the impact of Covid-19 and effects of the restrictions that have had to be put in place.  

Through this fund support can be provided to wherever the need is greatest. This enables us to respond to the most urgent requirements and emerging needs of the University community.

The Alumni Scholarships Fund supports undergraduate students studying in any faculty or programme who, because of financial hardship, may not otherwise be able to undertake a university degree.  

This scholarship not only offers practical support to students who have themselves or whose parents/primary guardian(s) have been granted refuge in New Zealand; it demonstrates that our community welcomes them and wants them to succeed.  

This fund supports students experiencing challenging personal circumstances or short-term financial crisis, and wellbeing activities to better equip students to manage high levels of stress and achieve academic success.
