Overseas drivers
Those used to driving overseas should look at this website as it has important information for visiting drivers.
Driver fatigue
This needs to be considered if people are expected to drive long distances as part of University work or field activities.
Look now: NZ Transport Agency.
Quad Bikes
These cause many injuries and deaths, particularly in the agricultural sector. Therefore, the University prefers that they are not used.
If you decide to go ahead and use quad bikes anyway, you must assess the risks involved and implement the controls as recommended by Worksafe NZ.
