What do I do if the session or webpage is not loading, or I am unable to login or register?

Try refreshing the page or opening it in a different browser or device. If you’re still having issues, try clearing the cache or using incognito mode in the browser (this will remove any cookies stored). 

Ensure your ad-blocker is disabled, as it may interfere with the functionality.

Can I connect with speakers/presenters through Q&A?

Yes, many sessions include live Q&A segments where you can ask questions directly to our speakers and presenters.

What if I can’t make it on the night?

Don’t worry. All sessions will be recorded and made available on-demand after the event. If you’re registered for the event, you’ll receive an email with access details once the recordings are ready. Register now to receive updates [link].

I’m confused about how to register.

You can register by clicking the “Register” button on the event page and filling out the form. If you experience issues, contact our support team for assistance.

How do I join live on the night?

Closer to the event, we’ll send you an email with a link to access the live sessions. Click the link, and you’ll be directed to the live webinar platform.

If you have added sessions to your calendar, you will find the link to your session within the calendar item.

You can also add sessions to your ‘favourites’ which you can refer to on the night.

How early can I join a session?

You can join up to 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Can I join a session late?

Yes, you can join a session at any time while it is live. You can also catch up on anything you missed by watching on-demand after the event.

Can I join on my phone?

Yes, you can join the event live or watch on-demand on any device with wifi connectivity.

My favourites are no longer visible. How do I find them?

Any sessions you mark as 'favourites' will be saved on the specific device and browser you are using. If you join us on the night using a different browser or device, these ‘favourited’ sessions won't be visible.

Will I be able to change my session choices after registering?

Yes, you can update your personalised sessions at any time on the Info Evening webpage.

Will these webinar events distribute an e-certificate of participation?

No, there will be no certificates of participation. These events are designed to provide valuable information about undergraduate study options, the application process, and life at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland, to prepare you for your first year of university study.

Will there be captions or accessibility options?

Yes, captions will be available for all sessions, and we aim to make the event as accessible as possible.

Can parents / guardians / whānau join the sessions?
