'Incredible Science' has kids in wide-eyed wonder

The City Campus was abuzz with school kids encountering the wonders of science.

About 200 school pupils were wowed by the community outreach event 'Incredible Science' hosted on campus by the Faculty of Science on 25 June.

As ever, the School of Chemistry's magic show was an explosive favourite.

The annual event offers an array of hands-on experiments, games and displays to inspire and amaze the scientists of tomorrow.

In these photographs by Chris Loufte, the kids' faces say it all.

The schools taking part: Pukekohe Intermediate School, Waimauku School, Ōtāhuhu Intermediate School, Albany Junior High School, Ōrere School, Reremoana Primary School, Hobsonville School, Ōrewa College, St Dominic’s College.

The faculty thanked all the staff who worked hard to make the day possible and a big success.
