Rt Hon Christopher Luxon Prime Minister of New Zealand

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon says New Zealand is ambitious to have a stronger relationship with India.

“Connections between our people are valuable for both nations. It’s great to see the University of Auckland’s efforts and connections first-hand and to explore the opportunities available.”

The Vice-Chancellor is travelling with the business delegation and has taken the opportunity to renew a joint PhD agreement with IIT Kharagpur, sign a Letter of Intent for internships commencing in the second half of the year, and forge a Memorandum of Understanding with India’s top-five institution, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
