Uni Corner Cafe
For the month of April, head to Uni Corner Cafe before 10am for a breakfast special. For $12 you can get a bacon and egg bap, one fruit and a regular coffee.
Retailer in residency
Tech Square repairs your electronic items, including phones, TVs, laptops and audio systems. You'll find them in the Faculty of Engineering building Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm from 17 March to 19 June. Drop off your tech between classes and you'll get them back good as new a few days later.
New to campus
Ora and Little Ora – Hiwa Recreation Centre
Located in the public area of the University’s new Recreation Centre, Ora is the hottest café on campus, sharing the good energy of everyone passing through whether they’re visiting for a workout, to meet up with friends and colleagues, or to just chill. Serving Atomic Coffee, cold pressed juices, cold brew coffee, smoothies, hot and cold cabinet foods, and great views of Taumata Quad.
In a dash? Check-out Little Ora on Symonds Street just past the entrance. Hiwa’s little coffee pocket will have you on your way, drink in-hand, in no-time.
Coffix – Ground Floor, Science Building
Opening in late March on the ground floor of the Science Building, Coffix will be replacing G90 as the resident café for Science. Known for their great value for money coffee!
Uni Corner Cafe – Ground Floor, KEIC
Your new hangout spot has just opened on the ground floor of Kate Edger, next to Needo Pasta. Bring your mates and sit back while enjoying Mojo coffee and an assortment of sweet and savoury treats.
Hiwa Store – Hiwa Recreation Centre
The University's Campus Store now has a second location! Stocking all the items you love on top of speciality fitness equipment and snacks to keep you equipped and fuelled.
Movings and shakings
Gong cha – Level 2, Kate Edger Information Commons (KEIC)
Gong cha will be moving to a new larger location with seating, in between Tank and PB Tech on Level 2 of KEIC in April. Stay tuned for what’s going to take over their old space once they move!
