What to expect
When you visit the University of Auckland Clinics, you will be seen by a student training in a University of Auckland course to become a health professional.
All our supervising clinical supervisors are highly trained leaders in their fields. As tutors at New Zealand’s leading University, they have the latest expertise, knowledge and skills in the field they are overseeing as well as access to the latest research.
At our teaching clinics you can look forward to:
• Expert health advice based on sound research evidence
• First-rate facilities equipped with state-of-the-art technology
• Friendly, welcoming staff
• Lower than average fees – and sometimes no fees at all
The safety of our clients always comes first. Our students are usually in their last year of study and have the skills and knowledge needed to undertake the tasks required. Their work is also checked every step of the way.
If a clinical supervisor isn’t present in the consulting room during your appointment, one will be working behind the scenes monitoring the student or will review the work after the session.
Any advice you receive is totally independent. We do not have a vested interest in promoting any commercial brands, treatments or therapies.
By using our University of Auckland Clinics, you are helping us to train tomorrow’s health professionals.
