About the Audiology Teaching Clinic

We are a teaching clinic for Audiology students studying for their Master’s of Audiology professional degree.

As a premier research and student training clinic for Audiology students aspiring to become Audiology health professionals, our clinic offers a dynamic hands-on learning environment where future Audiologists can develop evidence-based clinical skills. Under the guidance of experienced professional teaching fellows from the Master’s of Audiology program, students provide the public with affordable, personalized hearing health advice and support. This unique experience not only enhances their training but also ensures community members receive high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.

What we do

Our student clinicians conduct supervised comprehensive hearing assessments to provide individualized support to assist clients with the appropriate hearing protection and/or offer improved hearing solutions. The clinic also supports the clinical teaching of:

  • Aural Rehabilitation by providing information, fitting, and conducting reviews of hearing aids to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Vestibular Function to assess, diagnose, and support abnormalities in the vestibular system.
  • Diagnostic Tinnitus Assessment and Counseling by supporting evidence-based practices of clinical skills in diagnosing and managing tinnitus.

Our clinic supports many aspects of audiology by supporting various projects and research that may suit different participants. We maintain a volunteer database to inform people about the ongoing research and eligibility for trials.
