City Campus tours

During your guided tour you will

• Visit key buildings across the City Campus
• Learn about the history and purpose of various campus landmarks
• Get the chance to ask your tour guides questions about university life, academics and facilities
• Experience the campus atmosphere firsthand

Rain or shine

• Tours operate in light rain.
• If severe weather impacts the tour, we’ll notify you by email the morning of the tour.

Mobility needs

Let us know when you book a tour if you have any mobility requirements so that we can adjust the route to suit your needs.

Important

• Bookings may close early if the tour reaches capacity. 
• If you've booked but can no longer attend, please let us know so we can offer your spot to another group or individual.

Locations not included in the guided tour

• We are unable to enter rooms that are in use, including lecture halls, gyms and other student-only spaces
  
• Auckland Law School
• Elam Fine Arts School (access is restricted to current students only)
• Grafton Campus (Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences)
• Halls of Residence (accommodation tours)

Accommodation tours must be booked seperately.

Group limitations

• We cannot accommodate large group bookings or school groups.
• Tours are designed for individuals interested in applying to the University.
• Only scheduled dates and times are available – we do not offer custom tours.

Tour size

To ensure a quality experience, tours have a maximum capacity of 80 people. Make sure to include the total number of people in your party when booking.

We are currently working to enhance the booking experience for our campus tours. A new webpage and booking system will be available soon. 

You are also welcome to walk through the City Campus yourself at any time and if you have any questions you can visit the Student Hubs.
