Faculty student support
Please assess the severity of the situation before reaching out for support:
- An emergency: call 111 immediately. If possible also call University Security on 0800 3737 550.
- Urgent but not an emergency: student needs help but it isn’t an emergency. Submit a support request with Te Papa Manaaki, Campus Care.
- General support: reach out to the relevant Faculty Student Support and Engagement team, listed in the table below.
Faculty student support contacts are here to provide care and support during your time studying. You can speak about your pastoral care needs in a safe and judgment-free space. This may include any concerns about managing your workload, how your wellbeing is impacting your studies, as well as academic and pastoral support that is available to you within the Faculty. The Faculty team can also link you with other University support services based on your needs.
If you are a staff member concerned about a student you can reach out to the relevant Faculty Student Support and Engagement team or submit a Te Papa Manaaki, Campus Care support request. You don’t need to be an expert in anything to make the right call in getting help for a student.
