University of Auckland Top Achiever Scholarship
Rewards exceptional students, who have excellent academic records and
demonstrated sporting or performance and leadership potential.
University of Auckland Māori Academic Excellence Scholarship
Recognises students with Māori heritage, who have excellent academic records and demonstrated sporting or performance and leadership potential.
University of Auckland Pacific Academic Excellence Scholarship
Recognises students with Pacific heritage, who have excellent academic records and demonstrated sporting or performance and leadership potential.
AUEA Pacific Engineering Pathway Award
To support first year Pacific BE(Hons) students who have achieved academically, demonstrated all round ability (as evidenced by achievement in sports or arts activities), and have demonstrated commitment to, or interest in, the BE(Hons) degree programme.
AUEA Māori Engineering Pathway Award
To support first year Māori BE(Hons) students who have achieved academically, demonstrated all round ability (as evidenced by achievement in sports or arts activities), and have demonstrated commitment to, or interest in, the BE(Hons) degree programme.
Kick Start City of Sails Award
For first year BE(Hons) students from outside the Auckland metropolitan area, who have achieved academically and demonstrated all round excellence through sporting and performance

John Drake Scholarship – Auckland University Rugby Football Club
In 2009, the then All Black Coach Sir Graham Henry launched the John Drake Memorial Scholarship.
John Drake created his own legend with an exceptional rugby, business career and a distinguished service in the media related to rugby.
The core objective for the Scholarship is to support a young promising individual who displays the potential to develop the attitude and success of John Drake.
