Insurance process in New Zealand

The insurance process in New Zealand is a pay and claim service. This means you pay for medical consultations and prescriptions first and then make a claim for reimbursement of expenses to the insurance provider.

University Health and Counselling Services

Studentsafe Inbound University policy holders, who are inside New Zealand, are able to use the University Health and Counselling Services for all compliant health and counselling needs. Any consultation covered by the Studentsafe Inbound University policy will be billed directly to the insurance company with no charge to the student.
