Fitness to practise
If you're studying a clinical programme, you must meet the University's fitness to practise requirements.
Your fitness to practise is guided by the FMHS Fitness to Practise Policy.
The primary purposes of this policy are to:
- Ensure public and patient safety
- Uphold professional standards, including relevant professional codes of conduct
- Contribute to the maintenance of the reputation of the relevant profession and public confidence in that profession
It is your responsibility to declare any health or other issues to your Programme Director that may affect your fitness to practise during your clinical placements.
