Acceptable non-University of Auckland foundation programmes for University Entrance

There are a range of non-University of Auckland foundation programmes that you may be able to do to meet University Entrance, if you did not: 

• Get University Entrance from a New Zealand secondary school 
• Meet an equivalent level from an overseas secondary qualification 
• Meet an equivalent level from a tertiary qualification  

If you complete one of the acceptable non-University of Auckland foundation programmes, you may be considered for admission to your chosen programme(s).  

The list provided is not a complete list. Other foundation or preparation programmes may be considered on a case-by-case basis, including programmes completed overseas.

If you’re an international applicant, you’re encouraged to consider studying either: 

• Foundation Studies Certificate 
• University of Auckland Certificate in Foundation Studies
