“I feel so grateful to receive a New Zealand Scholarship – it is a rare opportunity for me. Not only does it provide me access to study at the top university in New Zealand, it has also become a way for me to build a global network. During my time in New Zealand I’ve learned a lot of things, including how to value wellbeing and respect diversity. I hope to pursue a doctoral degree at the University of Auckland in the future.
“My professional background and my passion to learn about global business inspired me to study Global Management and Innovation. During my time at the University, the teaching staff have been amazing. The lecturers are so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They support me if I have problems that affect my performance, and I want to make sure I don’t miss any opportunity to learn from them.”

“I was involved in a research project on technological roadmapping – how it can be used to support innovation for mature industries such as steel manufacturing. I want to be an innovative researcher who can help people in my country to gain a better life. To do that, I need to extend my education and build more collaboration with global academics. Studying at the University of Auckland is a vehicle for me to achieve that goal.
“My advice to future international students is to know your passion and what you want to achieve in the future. The learning process might not be easy, but when you know your goal it will give you strength to persevere.”
