"My choice of the University of Auckland as the right university for me had a lot to do with it being in Auckland and the change of living in a bigger city. At the same time, I find that Auckland doesn’t feel as big as it is. In my experience, it is a nice city to study in, and one thing that really surprised me about the people in New Zealand in general was how friendly everyone is. In addition, the rank of the University internationally, and the selection of courses were of great interest to me."

"I have always wanted to visit New Zealand and planned on doing it during my gap year but was hindered due to the COVID-19 virus. When I got the chance to study abroad, I knew exactly where I wanted to go!"

"The possibility of finding accommodation through the university was also of very great importance. Forming relationships with the people living in the same accommodation has been incredibly important, and it is a nice way to share everyday moments with someone."

"I find that the broad selection of clubs is unique and gives me a chance to join exactly the club that suits me. I have joined the surf club to try something new, and at this point, I have been to a couple of events in the club. Besides that, I joined a club relevant to my studies, where I found it nice to meet someone studying something similar to me and hear how they experience their studies."
