An Award to assist primary care clinicians who are New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents with the tuition fees for one or more postgraduate courses in Population Health.

The Award was established in 2023 and is funded by the Goodfellow Foundation to commemorate the late Dr Bruce Goodfellow, former Chairman of the Goodfellow Foundation, who wished to inspire younger general practitioners and trainees to see the pleasure and value in further academic study in primary care.

The intention of the Award is to encourage and support primary care clinicians (General Practitioners, registrars, nurse practitioners, primary care nurses, palliative care nurses and doctors) to undertake postgraduate study in the School of Population Health at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.

Outcomes are determined by a selection committee and are usually notified around eight weeks after the closing date.
