A Scholarship of up to $20,000 toward compulsory tuition fees for new international students who have attended a New Zealand secondary school or kura, and who are enrolling in the first year of an undergraduate degree at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
University of Auckland ASEAN High Achievers Scholarship
A Scholarship of up to $10,000 towards tuition fees for new international students from ASEAN countries enrolling in undergraduate degrees, masters degrees or postgraduate diplomas.
University of Auckland India High Achievers Scholarship
A Scholarship of up to $20,000 towards tuition fees for new international students from India enrolling full-time in undergraduate degrees, PGDip or masters degrees.
University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship
A Scholarship of up to $10,000 towards compulsory tuition fees for new International undergraduate and postgraduate students.

An Award of up to $10,000 towards compulsory tuition fees to assist high achievers from our Foundation Pathway partners who are enrolling in their first semester of study.

An award of up to $10,000 towards tuition fees for international students from our Pathway Partner NCUK enrolling in the first year of an undergraduate degree.

University of Auckland Summer Research Scholarships

Summer Research Scholarships are a great way to gain valuable research experience, work with leading researchers at the University of Auckland, enhance your career opportunities and help you think about pursuing postgraduate study.
Open to high-achieving domestic and international students who will have completed at least two years of equivalent full-time study in an undergraduate degree by December 2024.
Applications for 2024-2025 have closed. Applications for 2025-2026 will open in mid-2025.

A Scholarship of up to $5,000 for international and domestic students commencing full-time undergraduate study in the School of Music.
Veza Family Entry-Level Scholarship in Music
A Scholarship of up to $5,000 to support a domestic or international student enrolled in the first year of a BMus or BMus conjoint degree.

Colombo Plan Scholarship in Engineering
A Scholarship to assist an international student who is a citizen of a Colombo Plan member country with a contribution of $3,000 towards undergraduate or postgraduate tuition fees in Engineering.
Business School
Dean's Asia Scholarship in the Faculty of Business and Economics
A Scholarship to assist international undergraduate students from Asia enrolling at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland for the first time, undertaking full-time enrolment in the first year of a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Property or an associated conjoint degree in the Business School. The Scholarship covers the tuition fees for up to 360 points of study.

A $5,000 Scholarship for international and domestic students, enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate, full-time or part-time study in the Faculty of Science in study relating to Cybersecurity.
Kiwiplan Scholarship

A Scholarship of up to $4,500 for the final year of undergraduate study in Computer Science, Information and Technology Management, Information Systems or Software Engineering.

A $6,000 Scholarship to support an international or domestic student enrolled full-time in Part III of an LLB who is experiencing financial hardship.

A $4,000 Award to support a domestic or international student enrolled in the second or subsequent year of a Bachelor of Music.
