What can you study in Nutrition and Dietetics?
You can study the Nutrition and Dietetics specialisation in the Master of Health Sciences programme.
This two-year masters programme provides learning in applied nutrition, public health nutrition, food service management and professional skills.
You will learn the core skills required for patient-centred care, clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice. You will also complete a research thesis in order to provide a foundation for evidence-based practice.
Through this course you will also learn to be culturally aware, a good communicator, an empathic listener and a skilled educator to educate patients in their nutritional requirements for their care.
The learnings are supported by practical skills developed through small group learning and 20 weeks of placement in a range of dietetic settings.
