Undergraduate study in Teaching

You can complete a Bachelor of Education (Teaching) in three specialisations:

• Early Childhood Education
• Primary
• Huarahi Māori (Māori-medium teaching)

Our students gain an internationally accepted qualification from New Zealand’s best university for Education. They also develop excellent teaching skills, and the latest knowledge about learning and teaching.

For those who need to gain confidence for tertiary study, or whose grades are not high enough, we offer a one-year Tertiary Foundation Certificate (Education and Social Work pathway) and as a bridge between school and University.
