The science of behaviour analysis can be applied to a wide variety of client groups, including in businesses and other organisations. Behaviour analysis supports those with intellectual and other disabilities, autistic people, people with severe and challenging behaviour, and people with brain injuries or dementia. Behaviour principles provide a solid basis for analysing complex human repertoires, including language and social behaviour.

The degree develops students' critical cultural and research skills. These will equip graduates to become future psychologist leaders in New Zealand and internationally.

Graduates of the Master of Behaviour Analysis will be eligible to apply for a place on the PGDipAppPysch and register as an Intern Psychologist to qualify for registration as a Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board.

Employment pathways include education, health, business, public and private organisations, and forensics.
