Postgraduate Diploma in Stroke Care (PGDipStrokeCare)
This interprofessional qualification enables specialisation in the care of people with stroke, including advanced clinical assessment and communication skills.
Programme overview
Graduates of the PGDipStrokeCare will have:
- Advanced understanding and application of contemporary theory and practice of interprofessional stroke care at all stages of the patient journey
- Learning experiences in applying guidelines and knowledge to find culturally safe and practical responses to real-life challenges faced by people with stroke and their whānau
- An understanding of the factors underlying inequities in patient experience and outcomes of stroke care
