Programme overview

If you have an undergraduate degree in a non-business discipline or a business degree in an unrelated field, this programme has been designed to kick-start your career in marketing. Develop advanced skills and knowledge in business and marketing as well as a strong platform of professional skills. You will graduate with an appreciation of current international trends in practically focused marketing topics, enhancing your competitiveness.  

Programme structure

The Master of Marketing is a 15-month, 180-point programme studied over five quarters. You will study core business and specialist marketing courses focusing on marketing management, understanding consumers, branding, and digital marketing strategy, and complete an industry-focused project.

You will also complete a professional development module, an important component of your degree. This will equip you with professional skills that you will need to enhance your employability and success in the business world.

You must have completed a BCom or a non-business degree in a relevant discipline such as arts, engineering, technology, or science. You will need a GPA of 5.0 in 90 points in the most advanced courses taken in your qualification.

If you have completed advanced course(s) in an undergraduate degree that are considered substantially similar to courses in this programme you will be required to complete substitute course(s). Advice will be provided to you on a case-by-case basis.

Fees are set in advance of each calendar year and will be updated on this website. Fees are inclusive of 15% GST, but do not include the Student Services Fee, course books, travel and health insurance, or living costs. Amounts shown are indicative only. In addition to the tuition fees, there is a Student Services Fee of $8.88 per point, estimated at $1,332.00 for full-time study (150 points). Fees will be confirmed upon completion of enrolment into courses.
