We are delighted to welcome Judge Faumui Lope Ginnen, an alumna of Auckland Law School, as the guest speaker at this opening event of the Pacific Law Week.

Judge Faumui Lope Ginnen

Judge Ginnen is of Samoan (Safune, Tufutafoe, Leauva’a, Lefaga) and Pākehā descent.  She was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in October 1991 and sworn in as a Family Court Judge at the Manukau District Court in 2019. Before her elevation to the bench, she practised at the law firm King Alofivae Malosi (founded by Judge La-Verne King, Judge Ali’imuamua Sandra Alofivae and Judge Ida Malosi), was a partner at KAM Legal, and then was a barrister at Halcyon Chambers.
