DigiMaster - Professional Development Masterclass
The Professional Development Masterclass is an exclusive programme developed by Maria Masterantonio, founder of DigiMaster, designed to give students not only a deeper awareness/broader perspective of what working in law looks like but to arm students with the necessary tools to build a solid foundation in their legal career.
The course will be led by Maria herself, whose illustrious career has spanned over three decades in the legal industry, internationally and in Aotearoa. Maria is dedicated to enhancing the professional landscape within the legal sector.
The Masterclass includes:
Introduction to law and its practices
Maria will share with you the history, business, uniqueness of law firms and their practices over the past 30 years and what it will look like in the future to give you an awareness of how to operate successfully in a firm and find the firm for you.
What you need to know and how to do it
This segment will teach you time and file management along with an understanding of work in progress, reporting, budgets, billing, and how it all fits together to ensure you are a successful part of the team and firm delivering exceptional service to the clients.
The skills that matter
Relationships are the fabric of society shaping our interactions, experiences and a sense of belonging. In this segment, Maria will dive deeply into the soft skills required to excel beyond expectations.
