Ezra-Lee Magele
Ezra is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts conjoint, majoring in Communications. He previously earned a Diploma of Communications from Western Sydney University in 2019.

Born in New Zealand and of Samoan heritage, Ezra-Lee is motivated by the University’s esteemed reputation and its advanced facilities. "Both of my parents went to UoA, and my mum studied at the law school herself," he explains. This personal connection played a significant role in his decision to choose UoA.
Ezra-Lee finds the opportunity to network with a diverse group of law students particularly valuable. Being part of a competitive environment has challenged him to grow both academically and professionally. He appreciates how his time at UoA has been enriching, helping him develop intellectual curiosity through complex coursework and stimulating discussions with peers. One of his biggest achievements so far has been completing his first year and advancing to Part II law.
Ezra-Lee aspires to make it into Law Honours, complete his LLB, and eventually practice in the legal field. He values the flexibility that his degree offers, allowing him to explore various fields of law.
What he enjoys most about his studies is the sense of accomplishment that comes from finishing challenging assignments. "Each completion marks not just academic achievement, but mastery of complex concepts," he says, highlighting how this drives his passion for learning.
In addition to his studies, Ezra-Lee interned as a producer at 95bFM as part of his BA Communications major. He loved reporting on current affairs and appreciated the dynamic environment of radio journalism. The learning opportunities and professional experiences gained through this role motivated him daily!
