University of Auckland Top Achiever Scholarships
Rewards exceptional students, who have excellent academic records and demonstrated leadership potential. Value: $20,000 in the first year.
University of Auckland Pacific Academic Excellence Scholarships
Recognises students with Pacific heritage, who have excellent academic records and active participation in community, cultural and other activities. Value: $20,000 over three years.
University of Auckland Māori Academic Excellence Scholarships
Recognises students with Māori heritage, who have excellent academic records and active participation in community, cultural and other activities. Value: $20,000 over three years.
University of Auckland Academic Potential Scholarships
Supports students who have achieved academically, but are experiencing hardships that potentially limit their opportunities or who may have been disadvantaged due to their personal circumstances. Value: $6,000 to $20,000 over three years.
Professor Michael Walker Scholarship for Māori and Pacific Students
A scholarship for Māori and Pacific students currently enrolled in their final year of an undergraduate study and who are enrolling full-time or part-time in postgraduate study in the following year. Value: $3,000.

University of Auckland Postgraduate Honours/PG Diploma Scholarships
Domestic students with a grade point average (GPA) of 8.0 (‘A’ grade) or higher. Value: $13,000 + course costs.
University of Auckland Research Masters Scholarships
Domestic students with a grade point average (GPA) of 8.0 (‘A’ grade) or higher. Value: $13,000 + course costs.
University of Auckland Māori Postgraduate Scholarships
Māori students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand with a grade point average (GPA) of 7.5 or higher. Value: 13,000 + course costs.
University of Auckland Pacific Postgraduate Scholarships
Pacific students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand with a grade point average (GPA) of 7.5 or higher. Value: $13,000 + course costs.
University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarships
Māori and domestic Pacific students with a GPA of 7.5 or above will be guaranteed a scholarship. Domestic and international candidates with a GPA (or equivalent) of 7.0 or above will also be considered for a scholarship.

givME offers access to more than 4,000 scholarships and awards for individuals, including scholarships from Māori organisations and iwi.
The Toloa Scholarships are funded by the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs and intended for students studying STEM-related degrees.

Tips for applicants
Pacific applicants refers to students of indigenous Pacific descent who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand.
Pacific includes Samoa, American Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands, Niue, Tokelau, Fiji, Rotuma, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Palau, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Wallis and Futuna, Hawaii, French Polynesia, Rapanui (Easter Island)
