An Award of up to $1,000 for international and domestic students enrolled in Part I of a BE(Hons).
Faculty of Engineering Kick Start City of Sails Award
An Award of up to $2,000 to assist first year BE(Hons) students from outside the Auckland metropolitan area with setup costs.
Faculty of Engineering Kick Start Māori and Pacific Award
An Award of up to $2,000 to assist first year Māori and Pacific BE(Hons) students with setup costs.
Faculty of Engineering Kick Start Merit Award
An Award of up to $2,000 to assist first year BE(Hons) students with setup costs.
Edward Connolly Faculty of Engineering Kick Start Award
An Award of up to $2,000 for first year BE(Hons) students who applied for a Kick Start Award.
Edward Connolly Faculty of Engineering Entry Level Undergraduate Scholarship
A Scholarship of up to $5,000 to support the first year of study in a BE(Hons), for New Zealand citizens or permanent residents who applied for a University of Auckland school-leaver/first year scholarship.
AUEA Māori Engineering Pathway Award
Award of up to $10,000 to support Māori students enrolled full-time in the first year of a BE(Hons) degree.
AUEA Pacific Engineering Pathway Award
Awards of up to $10,000 to support Pacific students enrolled full-time in the first year of a BE(Hons) degree.
Colombo Plan Scholarship in Engineering
A $3,000 Scholarship to assist an international student who is a citizen of a Colombo Plan member country with a contribution towards undergraduate or postgraduate tuition fees in Engineering.
Jim Greatbanks Mount Albert Grammar School Engineering Scholarship
A Scholarship of $4,000 pa for up to four years for Mount Albert Grammar School students enrolling in a BE(Hons) at the University of Auckland.

External scholarships and awards
Keystone Trust Study Award
This Award is open to secondary school leavers within New Zealand or those entering tertiary study for their first year of study to an approved course, and who meet the specified criteria below. Applicants must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident, demonstrate financial hardship or circumstantial need, and intend to study a property or construction related tertiary qualification, or a course of study aligned to the built environment.
Each Award includes a scholarship of $5,000 per annum for a period of three years, and also offers mentoring and networking opportunities across all of our sponsor family. As a member of the Keystone whanau, you will gain exposure through work experience opportunities, events and mentoring programmes and also gain access and insights to some of the leading organisations in the sector.
