Bachelor of Science (BSc) majoring in Environmental Physics
Environmental Physics is the study of the Earth and environment, using Physics and Mathematics. If you’re interested in the Earth and its environment and would like a physics-based understanding of it, then Environmental Physics is a great subject to study.
The BSc programme majoring in Environmental Physics consists of a number of courses worth 15 points each, totalling 360 points.
You must complete the following courses plus a capstone course in your final year of study. For Enviromental Physics we recommend the capstone course, ENVPHYS 399. For other capstone options, see our Capstone courses page.

Doing a double major with Environmental Physics
If you choose to do a double major in your BSc we recommend the following subjects to complement Environmental Physics: Computer Science, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Geography, Mathematics, Physics and Statistics.
Preparing for your Environmental Physics major
Some students will feel more prepared for our Environmental Physics courses if they have already studied some science subjects in high school.
Find out which school subjects will help you feel prepared by reading our Subject guide for school students.
