Te Tomokanga Post-Doctoral Fellowship

Te Tomokanga Post-Doctoral Fellowship is a full-time, two-year appointment with Te Pūtahi Mātauranga, Faculty of Arts and Education at Waipapa Taumata Rau, the University of Auckland. It could be the post for you if:

• You are a Māori or Pacific scholar, and
• In the last two years, you completed your PhD in any subject that Te Pūtahi Mātauranga offers as a major, and
• You are seeking your first research position since you graduated
  

The Fellowship is designed to support fellows to work towards publication of their research and contribute to the teaching programme of the school in which they are appointed.

Te Tomokanga Fellowship recognises the importance of Māori and Pacific knowledge and experience in Te Pūtahi Mātauranga. It acknowledges the need for more Māori and Pacific staff and provides a supportive environment in which Māori and Pacific fellows can develop their skills and experience.
