“Neighbours and Navigators, Preparing for Climate Mobility from Tuvalu and Kiribati to Aotearoa”
Dr Olivia Yates is a Community Psychologist who focuses on the well-being impacts of climate mobility across Oceania and associated policy reforms. She recently completed her doctoral research within the School of Psychology at the University of Auckland, which explored the implications of climate mobility from Tuvalu and Kiribati to Aotearoa New Zealand. Olivia has been involved with the Centre for Asia Pacific Refugee Studies (CAPRS) for several years, notably hosting a CAPRS webinar series about Pacific climate mobilities. CAPRS also had a small advisory role in producing this research report and policy brief.
