The department offers courses at undergraduate level in Biomedical Science as well as in the medical programme. Read below to learn more.
About the BSc Biomedical Science
The Biomedical Science programme is designed for students with an interest in the emerging areas of basic medical science, such as genomics, microbiology and cancer, and its applications to improve health.
Our department has a focus on two of the pathways within this programme:
- Infection and Immunity
- Cancer Biology and Therapeutics
The undergraduate Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Science degree is an interdisciplinary specialisation within the BSc programme. Classes are co-taught by the Faculties of Science and Medical and Health Sciences, with lectures split between the City and Grafton Campuses.
