2024 Orientation

You will have three orientation events to attend before classes begin. You are required to attend all sessions, as they cover different content.

1. Tuesday 20 Feb 2024, 8.45-11 am (approximate)
The Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences will hold a mihi whakatau (traditional Māori welcome ceremony) followed by information from the Student Support Team.

2. Friday 26 Feb, 10 am
The NZ Optometry Students Society (NZOSS) provide a student-directed information session followed by lunch.

3. Friday 26 Feb, 1 pm
The School of Optometry & Vision Science staff provide important information about the programme structure and support, finishing with a short tour of the facilities.
