Student support
The Associate Head (Student Affairs) within the School of Optometry & Vision Science ensures representation of student interests and welfare within the programme, and supports interprofessional learning and innovative teaching and learning activities. Students with academic or pastoral care needs are encouraged to reach out to the Associate Head (Student Affairs) as the first point of contact.

Staff and Student Consultative Committee – Student Representatives
Each year students select two student reps (usually in week two of the first semester). These student reps attend four SSCC meetings with School of Optometry and Vision Science staff each year. The meetings are organised by the Group Services Administrator (GSA-Optometry@auckland.ac.nz).
