Message from the Associate Dean (Research)
Research in the faculty is overseen by Professor Cliona Ni Mhurchu, the Associate Dean (Research). Professor Ni Mhurchu chairs the Faculty Research Committee which supports and implements the Faculty research strategy, policies and practices.

The faculty is the largest medical and health sciences facility in New Zealand, with a proud history of attracting and growing pre-eminent researchers, talented students and generating high levels of research funding.
"The faculty has a very strong research culture and is host to a number of internationally renowned and highly regarded research programmes and centres. A strong culture of collaboration supports the integration of diverse disciplines, knowledge systems, and methods to improve health and wellbeing outcomes."
