Food insecurity among university students

The University of Auckland is conducting a study for university students with food insecurity. This study is looking at the best way to create effective interventions and support systems for the student community.

What's involved?

The study involves an anonymous survey about participants, food security measures and dietary habits as well as an anonymous dietary recall about the food and drink they consumed in the past 24 hours. 

Participants who complete the survey can enter a prize draw for one of ten $15 grocery vouchers. People who also complete the dietary recall in Intake 24 can enter a second prize draw of five $100 grocery vouchers.

Eligibility criteria

To participate in this study, you must:

  • Be a student at the University of Auckland
