Clinical Utility of InterRAI Data
The University of Auckland is conducting a study for older people who have had a needs assessment to understand what supports may help them in everyday life. This study focuses on the experiences of older people, family members, clinicians and support people who receive information after an interRAI assessment.
What's involved?
The study involves completing an online survey. Participants give their consent electronically.
There are two different surveys. One is for people who have had a needs assessment (interRAI) completed for themselves or for a family member to complete. The other survey is for clinicians or other people working in the sector to complete.
Eligibility criteria
To participate in the study focused on people or their family members, you must
- Be aged 18 years or above
- Be able to complete a survey electronically using your own device or a device to which you have access
- Be able to read and respond in English
- Have had an interRAI assessment, or
- Be a family member of someone who has had an interRAI assessment
To participate in the study focused on the sector or clinicians, you must
- Be aged 18 years or above
- Be able to read and respond in English
- Be able to complete and electronic survey
- Be involved in healthcare, including roles such as provision, education, governance leadership, quality improvement, service development or contracting
