Development and validation of a self-report general mental health scale for patients with functional gastroduodenal disorders

We are inviting patients with chronic functional gastroduodenal symptoms to take part in a study validating a new general mental health screening scale, developed for use in patients with functional gastroduodenal disorders.

What's involved?

Participation will involve completing an online survey, which is entirely anonymous.

This survey involves a series of questions asking about your general demographics, symptoms, and mental health. We anticipate that this survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

After you have submitted your answers, you will be given the opportunity to go into the draw to win 1 of 10 $50 NZD e-vouchers. This e-voucher will be converted to your local currency if you are one of the winners.

If you want to participate in this study, please click the link below to access the survey.

Eligibility criteria

To take part you must:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English
  • Meet the diagnostic criteria for a functional gastroduodenal disorder (e.g. gastroparesis, functional dyspepsia, chronic nausea and vomiting syndrome, cyclic vomiting syndrome, rumination syndrome, cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome, or a belching disorder)

The first questions of the survey will assess your eligibility for the study and let you know if you are eligible to continue.
