Master of Health Practice - Addiction Studies
Addiction Studies is a specialisation of the Master of Health Practice developed in recognition of the need for an advanced postgraduate qualification for health professionals who are moving into leadership roles in this area. It allows professionals to gain a Masters degree with a hands-on research project at their workplace.
Programme structure
Students doing a 120 point masters are required to enrol in and complete the following courses:
- POPLHLTH 737 - Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Studies (15 Points)
- POPLPRAC 707 - Theory and Skills in Counselling Practice (15 points)
- POPLPRAC 708 - Assessment and Intervention with Addiction (30 Points)

60 point dissertation
