Internships

Students regularly undertake internships with the Centre, including as part of the Community Law Internship course in the Faculty and through the Borrin Foundation-Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Summer Legal Research Internship Awards.

The internships can include undertaking research-based advocacy, drafting ‘shadow’ reports to United Nations bodies on Indigenous rights to provide alternative perspectives to government reporting, and other advocacy work.
